This atmospheric artwork transforms the chilly winter nightscape into a sparkling winter wonderland, reinterpreting the traditional Christmas tree with a creative twist. Illuminated trees hang like stars from the heavens, while others stand tall on the ground, crafting a forest of light that invites everyone to wander its glittering paths.
It's a winter symphony of light and sound, with each illuminated tree synchronized to the soundtrack by composer Chris Kuijten. The music mixes contemplative sounds with irresistible beats that invite both reflection and dance.
This seasonal light and sound installation, an upside-down world of wonder, continues to build on the success of previous years, fascinating children and adults alike, while transforming the dark, cold winter season into a time of magical celebration and heartwarming joy.
